I came across this free fashion advice giveaway HERE when I was looking for tips on what to wear to a baby shower. This book looked like something that I want (read:NEED) to have on my bookshelf right by my closet door!

Am I the only lady that worries about committing the ultimate fashion faux pas? I can't afford an expensive wardrobe (unless I start winning more free stuff for moms in the contests that I enter!) that gives me lots of options when dressing for various occasions like bridal showers, christenings, the wedding receptions and what have you.

She says she offers calming fashion advice about how to choose flattering clothes that will fit any woman’s shape and style and DEAR LORD don't I need to be soothed every time I look in the mirror and think, "PEAR SHAPE" here I come!

If you are as stressed out as I am every time you get an invitation in the mail, this free fashion advice giveaway contest may be tailored just for you! I'm always looking for contests where I can win free Iphone accessories and this one popped up on the radar. To enter the giveaway you go to BABY DICKEY and leave a comment stating how you would put the prize to use.

Oh yeah...about the prize. The free Iphone accessory that you are trying to win is a little case that hold your iPhone, iPod Nano or iPod Touch in an upright position. If you think about how many times a day you have to pick up your phone to look at the screen you know that being able to use it hands-free more easily could be a really cool thing.

The IDOX would make watching videos, surfing the net, looking at photo slideshows or making speakerphone calls much, MUCH more convenient. I personally like the idea of using the clock app and the IDOX case to turn my phone into a travel alarm clock.

When hubby is tagging along, I usually prepare by bringing HIS favorite (manly) baby carrier because he doesn't appreciate the pretty colors and floral patterns of my ring slings and Mei Tai's. But if I had to choose my favorite kind of carrier, slings and Mei Tai's would rate high on the list because they are so convenient and lightweight. They don't take up much room in the diaper bag (or even a handbag) and they are good for breastfeeding. Plus, they are very attractive.

And the prize offered in the Free Dittany Baby Mei Tai Carrier Giveaway contest is REALLY cute. I read the review of the Dittany Baby Mei Tai and the opinion of the authro said that it has nicely padded shoulder straps and if you've ever carried a baby for an entire afternoon..you know this is a big deal. For the most part my baby carrier ratings are based on baby wearing comfort and padding is a large part of a comfortable experience for both mommy and baby.

There should be padding in the sides of the leg openings so that the carrier doesn't chafe and leave marks on the baby. Another thing I look for is the length of the straps. I'm above average in height so short straps don't work for me but the review states that the straps are very long on this mei tai so it would fit most anyone. That being said, if you are petite, you may find the Dittany Mei Tai a bit long and that they may get in the way of your work or activities.
